As you learned in the "About Us" Section ^^^, we're a (quirky) married couple made up of two people that have always been on the larger side of life. Simply put: we love food, ya'll. We grew up in families that loved food, too, and knew that good food brought together good people. And honestly, there's something kind of beautiful about that. 

 

BUT in 2018, we finally came to terms with the fact that good food (even with the good company it brings) doesn't always have to be gorged upon, and that a healthy lifestyle isn't too far fetched an aspiration.

 

Two larger than life people, leading a larger than life life, set out together on a journey of wellness- both through (usually) wholesome food and fitness. And we lost a combined 180 lbs. Now, we have found ourselves on a new adventure we were told may never happen for us - PREGNANCY! Looking back, we definitely can't say it has been the biggest "shock factor" of 2020, but it was definitely a surprise for us! Our reality is quickly changing, as we strive to stay healthy and bring our first little one into the world. We'd love for you to continue following along as we navigate what this means for us while living in 2020 - an era of uncertainty, COVID-19, and so much more. And as always, we promise to continue infusing humor and honesty into all we share!
